29 May 2014 : SPAD Suspends 600 Express Bus Permits

Further to the post that we did earlier this month, SPAD has been coming down on Malaysian express bus operators who do not install GPS tracking devices in their buses.

It was reported in Berita Harian (see picture below) and The Star (http://www.thestar.com.my/News/Nation/2014/05/25/600-buses-face-licence-suspension-SPAD-Commercial-vehicles-did-not-install-GPS/) on 25th May 2014 that SPAD has suspended 600 express bus permits from 107 companies as they have failed to install the GPS Tracking system in their buses to monitor the speed of their buses.

EVO Systems Sdn Bhd is proud to have assisted many of our clients who operate express bus services in passing their audit, with flying colours. Our comprehensive and periodic speed reports was exactly what was required by SPAD. Additionally, our clients have been impressed by the responsiveness displayed by the EVO team.
